To smoothie, or smoothie bowl…

Water is a great liquid to use when making a hydrating smoothie because it is calorie-free, hydrating, and helps to blend all of the ingredients together into a smooth consistency. Water provides a neutral taste that allows the flavors of the other ingredients, such as Leafsup and fruit, to shine through. By using water, you can create a smoothie that is refreshing and hydrating, which is perfect for a post-workout or mid-day pick-me-up.

On the other hand, using a smaller amount of nut milk or yogurt can make a creamy and thick smoothie bowl. Nut milk and yogurt provide a thicker texture and a creamier taste to the smoothie bowl. They also add a boost of protein, healthy fats, and nutrients such as calcium and vitamin D. Using nut milk or yogurt can create a smoothie bowl that is more filling and satisfying, which is great for a breakfast or a meal replacement option.

For a smoothie bowl, added chia seeds and coconut flakes as a garnish, will add a crunchy texture and nutty taste to the smoothie bowl. Other fresh fruits make for a delicious and beautiful garnish as well!
